The Alan Potter Day

History of the event
The Alan Potter Day originally started in 2007 following the passing of Alan Potter, who died from prostate cancer in 2005. Originally founded by his son Simon Potter and his friend Andy Kingman, the day was intended to be a one off event in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Though following the success of the inaugural event, which raised £12,000, it has been held annually ever since. With a total being raised to date of £168,000.
